  Absolutely horrible, the gal by the name of Brianna that was my examiner didn't even pay half attention as I went through my Pre-trip. She failed me on devices and equipment that I explained in detail from what the book and course teaches. I'm not sure what they are trying to pull but I'm not the first that's been failed by this same gal. I have been nailing my pre-trips with my instructor and went back over with my instructor exactly what I did on the test. We are both puzzled by Brianna failing me. She said because of federal standards she cannot explain in detail what I missed. There is something wrong with these examiners testing potential drivers when they themselves have never possessed a CDL and haven't been around trucks a day in their life other than this blanket job of theirs. I don't know what our CDL department at our state capital is thinking mandating such nonsense. We need to test with actual DOT DPS Officers that have common sense and pay attention. I did however forget to talk about the reflectors and amber to the front and sides and red to the rear; but does just that merit a fail? My experience was ridiculous. This office reminds me of the soup nazi from Seinfeld, " NO SOUP/CDL FOR YOU". Makes me wonder if they are failing people on purpose to get more money from retesting.
